I need help please (737-800 Zibo) engine keeps cutting out after takeoff
Good Afternoon, I am having some problems with X-plane -11's Zibo Mod 737-800. Everytime I taxi out and do the takeoff roll the engine cut off immediately after I have lifted off the ground and they don't power back on no matter what I try doing. I am flying using mouse and keyboard. I don't know what the issue is and I am by no means a professional flight simmer matter of fact I am still fairly new to the sim.. I am still trying to get use to the cockpit itself and the Zibo mod. Any Help would be GREATLY appreciated that is for the 737 Zibo mod.

Are you using the TOGA switch? if so that's likely your problem. Easy solution is to not use it, or you can use the in-plane tablet and go the config->hardware and enable the A/T throttle lock, or whatever it's called, then you can use the TOGA without the throttle dropping out on you.

I figured a fix you actually go to config->hardware and set the throttle noise lock to two. Thanks for your help👍

I'm suprised no one has given a correct answer to this, and i dont really have much knowledge but this one is simple. Clearly you are putting too much power into the engines (nearly or full throttle) which will eventually cause them to cut out. And you are not really meant to take off without using TO/GA.

TO/GA is meant to be used when taking off (if the FMC is set up correctly) and nothing has to be changed with the tablet because mine works fine without any modifications

I am not too sure, As I said I am fairly new to X Plane 11 and I only have keyboard and mouse to fly with since my money has been spent on games and dlcs. I am using the 737 Zibo mod which I truely enjoy using! However the fact that the engines keep cutting off on takeoff is kinda taking away that true joy I could be getting out of it. I have no clue what causes it but the only thing I tried so far is (Trying to correct it using the AviTab by going to config->hardware and set the throttle noise lock to two as I mentioned in the comment earlier.

Well if you are happy with your result then that's fine, but you are missing out on some realism while taking off

well first of all, are you starting off at the gate with engines turned off? and have you used the FMC correctly creating a flight plan? if so when you are taking off, use the TO/GA button which is located to the left of the dashboard and says "mic" above it. If you are not starting off at the gate with engines turned on and just spawning on the runway, then never, take off with full power, always do 90% or so. because using full power or a bit less will cause the engines to cut out. If the first one didn't help then there is a possibility you have done something wrong while starting the plane up and causing it to cut out when taking off. If the second one didn't help then you might be missing some zibo files or corrupted which is causing it so re download the plane. If you re install it and its still happening, well you might want to go through tutorials on YT and make sure you are doing things correctly. IF NONE OF THIS HELPS, well idk, maybe your XP is broken and just do what you do in the avitab

I don't find this TO/GA button. Which dashboard do you mean?

While taking off you can hit the MIC button on the top left of the glare shield or you can hit N1 on the autopilot panel

Guys seriously, if you have problems in an aircraft just watch a damn tutorial, and if the same problem still occurs after watching them multiple times, the ask here
NordicSimGaming 2019 年 10 月 6 日 上午 4:23
the toga button is the N1 button

I found the problem. If you have the same problem with me...
The problem is a connectred joystick. It sends signals all the time and make all basic controllers moving (yoke, yaw, throttle).

I had a similar problem that drove me crazy, but I solved it. I had a joystick control set to control Mixture from flying the C172. I then started flying the Zibo, but had problems with the left engine cutting out, usually while taxiing. I finally discovered that it only happened if the joystick Mixture knob had gotten bumped and wasn't set to full rich. I disabled the Mixture control and have not had a single problem since. Good luck!
