Can’t find flight plan folder
I’ve been learning the 737 zibo and I’m trying to input my flight plan into the fmc, I’m using simbrief,. How do I save the flight plan and put it in a file for the game so I can enter it into the fmc? How do I save the file from simbrief? Where do I put it? I can’t find a flight plans folder in the xplane folder.

save the xplane11 version of the document and put it into the output folder and in the FMS folder within it. If you dont have FMS folder just create it.

What should I call the folder? Just FMS? I get it as PDF, how do I make it an xplane version?

at the very bottom of the list on simbrief you will see an xplane 11 versio nto save the doc
that file goes into the FMS folder within the output one in the xplane directory. you will then be able to call for it when typing into the fmc on the zibo

The folder should be named "FMS plans".

1.As stated above, create an 'FMS plans' folder in your Output folder (\X-Plane 11\Output) so it will then look like \X-Plane 11\Output\FMS plans

2. In Simbrief, make sure you Left Click on 'Generate OFP' once you have entered your flight parameters.

3.Once the Briefing Package is created, scroll right to the bottom of page till you see 'Flgihtplan Downloads. 2nd from the last should be the X-Plane 11 flight plan you have entered.

4.Left click on the 'Download' button.

5.Copy the newly downloaded .fms file to the FMS plans folder - \X-Plane 11\Output\FMS plans

6.When entering the ROUTE parameters, enter the ORIGIN and DEST 4 letter ICAOs into the FMC, and look for the words 'CO ROUTE' below it. Type in your saved simbrief file name into this line and your flight plan will appear. You can then enter your Departure and Arrival SIDS, STARS, and Runways.
eg Melbourne - YMML to Sydney YSSY would have the following 'CO ROUTE' entry. YMMLYSSY01

I've got everything working except the SIDS and STARS. I don't understand them and what they do. I pick my prefered route on sim brief so it doesn't give me more options. The dep and arrivals is always blank on my fmc when I see tutorials with people who have many options?

This video will help explain what SIDs and STARs are and how they relate to Airways.

I use Simbrief (https://www.simbrief.com/home/) to generate flight plans that can then be opened in SkyVector (https://skyvector.com/) to view the route.

I have also paid for a subscription to Navigraph (https://www.navigraph.com/) that can be linked to Simbrief so that Simbrief can use the latest AIRAC cycle (At time 1907) .

Watch this video on how to setup the FMC.

Big Kangaroo, my grateful thanks. I have searched endlessly for an explanation on exactly how to do this and nothing I've found comes close to the simplicity of your advice. Very much appreciated.
