Textures

I want to reset my cloud textures for X-Plane 11, but I don't do not have a backup for the default clouds. If anyone can help me reobtain these textures without losing my ortho scenery, that would be great! :)

All you should have to do is verify the integrity of the game files and it will restore the default cloud textures. I just did that.

For future reference the clouds are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Resources\bitmaps\world\clouds. I would suggest you do what I did and once you have restored the default clouds, make a backup of that folder so you can restore them again in the future if needed.

Not trying to rob this thread, just had a question about verifying files.
So if I have several mods done to my files, will checking integrity revert all those changed files back to original form?

Don't really know how to answer that question as I have asked it myself. I have a couple of addons that modify the default textures. One of them is Airport Layout Enhancement Solution that changes the runway, taxiway, etc textures at airports (default not payware) and verifying gamefile integrity has not affected that addon. I also use TerraMaxx which replaces the default ground textures and validating game files hasn't affected that either. As to others, I cannot say.
