Local multiplayer... What is that exactly?
Local multiplayer... What is that exactly?
I live in stockholm and i want to fly with my friend who lives in oslo... is that possible?
Does not feel like the "local multiplayer" can handle that...
Is there any other way to fly with your friends online?

Local multiplayer = connect over a local network, such as your ISP router. You can connect directly, but I'm not sure how it can be done.

Hi dont quote me on this but im sure i read somewhere that you can visit
https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to find your ip address then give it to your friend (only give it to a trusted friend) then you should be able to host a game and they can join you that way.
you might have to forward some ports to of course

Step 1: Port forward 49000 and 49001
Step 2: Connect with friends
Step 3: Disable plugins (Like squwakbox)
Step 4: Have identical Aircraft folder ()

Don't forget VR will be added as a beta. New users of X-Plane should not opt in to betas.

Betas can result in crashes, bugs, and a poor experience with what is actually a great sim. When VR comes out, the official version will not have that support - only the beta. Only experienced users should use betas, because of the aforementioned reasons above. But it's not all doom and gloom, because if nothing blows up, then it should be final within around 4-6 weeks tops. And that's when VR is officially integrated into X-Plane 11.

(Sorry for derailing this thread, but the beta warning must be put out there.)

HI im happy to buy this for vr even if its at beta stage as that would be proof enuff for me that the devs will make it happen
