Good Joystick for Xplane?
Anybody can recommend me a good Joystick? My Thrustmaster TopGun Afterburner doesn't seem to work with this game.

Thrustmaster T.16000 M (can add throttle and pedals as well if you want) runs really well in Xplane, and isn't overly expensive.

Thurstmaster HOTAS X for $50 (can probably be found cheaper).

I also use the Thrustmaster 1600M with the throttle and rudder pedals. Works very well for me.

VKB Gladiator Mk.II. Has rudder built in as well as some additional buttons and throttle control. It's a right hand grip so if you're left handed then I wouldn't recommend but super smooth and a great price for the level of quality and performance. Perfect to just get out and setup with minimal effort and space.

You may find the following reviews helpful on the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS Hotas and various Yokes.

My suggestion also, a very good joystick.
I thought the T.16000 was pretty good, but now I am less positive. But now with my T.16000 I need to set a deadzone of 5, at least. Sad. It goes off center randomly when you think it is neutral and will still jump around and cause inadvertent input even with maybe a small deadzone set! Maybe at LEAST 6 then or maybe 5 is ok. I have read other people with the stick needing to set a deadzone/nullzone of even greater which would ruin it. The VKB is probably much better. But I'm going to get a TM warthog after considering some other options like Saitek and VKB ect.

The Logitech yoke looks nice, that the one around $175?

Only the "Pro" Gladiator has a base where you can swap it out for another stick later... the normal Gladiator cannot right? I mostly only see the normal one around.

That looks like a good one though for the money, probably much better than the T.16000 which I have.

how do you mean it doesn't work?

it really should and is enough to get you started in x plane.

have you set it up in game?
