Now, a question for you! I've heard it's a fair bit of work to set an airport up so that it has traffic. I like to fly at lots of smaller airports that I assume won't come ready to go with WT3. Do you find it to be a lot of work to set up an airport to have traffic, or is it pretty easy and worth it?
I have yet to try to fly smaller planes to and from smaller airports and use WT3 with that configuration, as I really like to fly the airliners.
To answer your question no it is not much work to set it up, and off course despite the problems it is nice to fly to and from and airport that actually look alive. I used this video tutorial to learn by Captain K-man

When you choose your type of aircraft it is important to disable all AI aircraft when you use WT3. It can be found in the upper right corner.
I don't know much about the World Traffic plugin but I used to write plugins in XP7 and 8 (not much has changed), I would expect to see traffic that is generally expected in your region, liveries, seasonal, proper stuff to look at ... but limited to no intelligence about their movements.
Traffic Global (for X-Plane 11)
As Traffic Global for P3D and FSX nears completion, Just Flight’s X-Plane development team has begun work on a version of Traffic Global for X-Plane 11.
Our aim is to replicate the features of the P3D/FSX version as closely as possible in X-Plane 11 and we will have more details of the exact specifications as development progresses. What we can say is that Traffic Global for X-Plane 11 will include the same aircraft fleet as the P3D/FSX version, with high-quality, animated models with lighting and effects and displaying authentic airline liveries. The aircraft will use a comprehensive, real-world traffic database in the same way as the P3D/FSX version and users will be able to customise their traffic experience using the same front-end dashboard and tools.
In summary:
Professionally designed AI models
Fully animated models with lighting and effects
Not limited to 20 visible aircraft
Works with multiplayer
Aware of the player's aircraft
Custom radar window
Customisable routes
Single, simple installer; no other downloads or manual configuration
Traffic Global for X-Plane is due for release in 2019 and pricing is likely to be similar to the P3D/FSX version.
