Mouse pointer issue
Hi everyone.

I have a problem with mouse pointer in the virtual cockpit view. The problem persists either I am in full window view or not.

The problem is that the pointer is formed like it is when you are on the knobs that can be turned like the altimeter knob and it will not go back to normal mode so that the other clickable buttons cannot be clicked at all, only the other turnable knobs

I have off course tried to reset the flight but I have not tried to uninstall and install it back.

Thanks in advance

Is this only on the Zibo 737?

Hi

Thanks for the swift reply, happens borth with zibo and default and I tried to change airport as well but that didn`t help either
I think the solution is buried deep in the Zibo 737 thread, which is too long to scoure through.

So I just has to uninstall and install again?

It doesn't always have to be like that. See if deleting your preferences will do the trick. You can always re-instate them and find the file that caused the issue in the first place, so you don't have to go about resetting everything.

Solved :steamhappy: Changed to the default boeing 747 and then back to the default boeing 737 and the zibomod 737 and the problem is no more.

Say you seem to have pretty decent handle on things and you have played quite a few hours of X-plane 11 haha. Any addons you would recommend both payware and freeware?

I am thinking seriosly getting the world traffic 3.

Cheers

The aircraft tens to be a bit dodgy, where they use multiple runways which doesn't end well, and sometimes they end up in deep waters! But it adds a lot to the immersion. XPRealistic Pro is good, as is the Flight Factor 757.

Mouse pointers not reverting back to normal is due to a problem with the installed video drivers not reacting properly to the cursor/mouse change commands & reloading the correct bitmap from memory.

This can usually be corrected by performing a clean installation of the video drivers.

If your system has Integrated Graphics as well as a GPU, as in a Laptop, you need to also update or cleanly install the Integrated Graphics driver.

In this latter case you have to temporarily drop the video drivers to Windows SVGA driver during the update process.

Hi, days ago I also encounter this problem. After searching the internet, I found a solution that no need to load other aircraft.

Open XP11/Output/preferences/X-Plane.prf and find

_hdg_hold_mag[0] nan
_hdg_hold_mag[1] nan

and edit them to:

_hdg_hold_mag[0] 0.000000
_hdg_hold_mag[1] 0.000000

this should work so far.
