Would T3PA pedals works as rudders with T.RJ12 adapter?
I got myself a Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle.

It doesn't have rudder so I wonder if I could get my T3PA pedals to work with this sim as rudders with the usb adapter?

I also have T300RS wheel which does have T3PA pedals connected, but when I go to configure controls in the sim I do not get the option to set the pedals as rudders left and right, I can set it as rudder trim and what not but not left and right, I can even calibrate the pedals but like I said it cannot be configured as rudder pedals for some reason. So I wonder whether it would make difference if I got the adapter and used it via USB giving the game perhaps different idea and allowing me to use it as rudder?

X-plane can see and use ANY device that windows recognizes as a native HID.

Normally with racing pedals the issue is that the accelerator, clutch and brakes are all seen by the operating system as separate linear input axis.

Airplane rudder pedals normally use just ONE axis for rudder yaw.

You cannot easily break out left and right rudder inputs into separate axis.

I use this plugin that maps differential toe braking into rudder: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/11801-x-toebrake2yaw-linmacwin3264/

Basically, you assign gas and clutch to right and left toe brakes, and the plugin calculates a merged axis for rudder. It's obviously not the perfect solution, but I'm happy using it with my G25.

Nice! That should fix the dual axis issue for HID compliant pedals.
