It appears the poster used the default configuration files for the entire world.
For areas outside the EU the configuration files must be modified extensively to get similiar results. This was not done.
The few buildings that were picked up from OSM look good and are properly placed, but these are very very few in number.
Ortho4XP's overlays provide more, but with less accuracy and the autogen scenery of .10 gives you much better coverage with very little accuracy.
It would be nice if we could layer the scenery linked to in the first post, over Ortho4XP scenery, and that over autogen scenery, with the layer above excluding just buildings and airports from the layer below.
Or better still the poster of the linked scenery could fix the configuration files and regenerate the scenery properly for the rest of the world.
Fixing the config files is NOT an easy task... I've gotten mixed results.
There are practically NO buildings in the uploaded World2XP overylays.
They were not done correctly.
Yup the North and South America files all exhibit this same problem.
You actually get better far more buildings with Ortho4XP overlays.
It's too bad because the files in the link the OP posted had very accurate placements and sizes for those very few buildings it puts up.
