Press ROUTE and then NEXT PAGE, enter your airway on the LEFT after inputting the SID in the DEP ARR page, followed by the next waypoint on the RIGHT. Airway left, waypoint right. Airway left, waypoint right... Once you're done, go to DEP ARR and whack the STAR in for your arrival airport.
this is my route from LCLK larnaca to LLBG ben gurion (israel)
EMED1B EMEDA B17 VELOX W13 SOLIN
and it says "Your route is valid for AIRAC 1603!"
this is what u mean?
www.navigraph.com
But how do i know what is waypoint and what is airway and star?
then download it as x-plane FMS and load it into the FMC...
1. create flight plan
2. download/export it as x-plane fms file to windows: \x-plane\output\fms plans as "plan.fms" for example...
3. load into zibo fms by typing in "plan" and clicking on COMPANY ROUTE.
sorry, this is a basic guide haha.
The website will also give you an excellent idea on how flightplans are structured :)
what i did is looked at the flight route on simbrief and entered it into the sim FMC.
but the problem is, for example the website says XYZ for the SID, and on the FMC it shows XYG something like that... not exactly the waypoint or airway the website shows
where is the most realistic flight planning website?
ty!

+-- As he said!!!
You are getting differences and issues because X-plane comes with an older AIRAC cycle and you are working off the latests when you go online to flight plan.
There are non-online flight planners that will read the AIRAC you have installed in X-Plane and use it instead. That will give you plans that better match what you can enter in the FMS.
Plan-G http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/
And
Little Navimap https://albar965.github.io/index.html both do this.
I prefer the latter because it displays SIDs and Stars during planning and let's you link the transitions to your flight plan by dragging and dropping points. It is the only planner that I have seen which does this.
Did I mention that BOTH are FREE.
Thanks alot
but how do i do that?
simbrief is a online flightplanning tool which you cost nothing.
