Yes it is more simple. Looks and runs great too.
And what about maps? It looks like it has fewer maps available
Edit: NVM i just read it has 150 airports maps.
Aerofly has limited coverage.
I have them all, XP11 is the better sim.
all things new can be a challenge for some people , and some times what we want is not what we get.
and from what i have red from your post is you are giving a man of 64 years of age a simulated game who is not use to computers.
download the demo of this simulator have a try , let your farther have a try see if it is something he likes and then take the next step.
http://www.x-plane.com/desktop/try-it/ here is the link to the demo.
sometimes i see things on youtube which looks like i would love to try and then when i do i wish i did not. lol....
best of luck
P3D out of the box graphics are better than FSX due to the refinements over the years but still needs about £200 worth of add ons to look anywhere close to X Plane 11.
I do think the P3Dv4 water looks a lot better than X Plane mind.
But teach ur father how to control plane he will like it
But I have to agree, other than that, graphically, XP11 is so much better. But if the person in question finds pretty much anything for XP too complicated to control, then probably even flying in FSX would be already pushing the limits.
