Need help with the Carenado B1900D
Hello. I'm new to X Plane 11. Have never used previous versions either. I purchased the Carenado B1900D aircraft and am experiencing issues. There is little documentation with this aircraft. Anyway, I am getting a yellow master caution light when I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the throttles below 15 torque and 85% turbine. Can't figure out why it's coming on, unless this is normal, but I don't think so. I must be doing something wrong. Would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has this aircraft. Thank you.

Don't own the product, but I know enough about the 1900D's systems I think. Master caution associated which which announciator? (which amber light comes on on the announciator?)

The auto feather off light comes on when flying and the throttles are reversed. According to the checklist the autofeather is supposed to be armed during approach and landing. I found if I turn it off and clear the caution light then the yellow master caution doesn't come back on when the throttles are reduced.

Yeah, the autofeather should be armed during T/O and Landing. The company I used to work used to just have the autofeather on below 10000'. Is your autofeather armed before you dropped your landing gear? I still have the flight safety book on my ipad, and it says the light comes on if "Autofeather system is turned off with landing gear extended."

If it is, there should be nothing on the announciator panel. If there is, it is likely a bug associated with carenado.

I have it armed for takeoff and leave it on. When armed there is a warning light with the throttles pulled back. When throttles advanced for takeoff the light goes out and the two green annunciator lights for L and R autofeather come on. I leave it armed and do a traffic pattern. Lower the gear and the light goes out but comes back on if the throttles are reduced below a certain level. So I"m thinking this is a bug with their programming. I wrote to Carenado, we'll see what they say.

I have the payware (no real-world experience) and there are a ton of little bugs with it.

it suction-cups to the ground, due to bad ground effects, fuel flow is based on screen-render framerate, pressurization doesn't work, the flap speeds aren't correct, etc.

Check in with Carenado support, though. They're pretty quick to get back to you.

I have an update. Carenado contacted me saying they have fixed the issue. Apparently a real B1900D pilot contacted them with the same complaint regarding the yellow Master Caution light and the autofeather feature. Carenado made it so the autofeather off light comes on when it should but does not trigger the yellow Master Caution light. I have downloaded V1.1 of the B1900D, installed and tested it and the issue has been resolved. Yeah!

where did you get 1.1 from? I bought mine from X-Plane.org, and I cannot see any update on Carenado website...

EDIT: not to worry, found it...

I purchased the B1900D from Carenado and downloaded the update from my download links. They are working on version 1.2. If you have the Carenado aircraft you should be able to go to where you purchased it and download the update.
