Upgrade: i7-4930k to i7-7820x or i7-7700k

I'm planning on upgrading to a faster CPU next month. I'm either thinking about going with an i7-7820x / 32GB DDR4-2666 Quad Channel / X299 or i7-7700k / 32GB DDR4-2400 Dual Channel / Z270. I won't be overclocking. Also is memory bandwidth important in X-Plane 11?

I have an older CPU, an i7 4790k and a 1080ti, runs great in full settings and 3 monitor.
I dont think CPU is a relevant bottleneck

An i7-4790k is almost as fast as an i7-7700k though. Also going from a 780 Ti to a 1080 Ti did not seem to do anything for X-Plane 11 on my system except allow me to run at higher texture settings without exceeding the VRAM usage on my video card but performed basically the same in this game as my 780 Ti I had.
