If this will also open up the x-plane installation on drive D, maybe for some reason x-plane cannot access the new folder due to rights mangement for example or other things up to a corrupt file system might cause this.
Edit
But before going down that route, you could maybe verify that x-plane is (not?) able to find aircrafts by simply copying one of the original aircraft folders and pasting it for example as "Aerolite 103 - Copy". If x-plane 11 is able to detect the aircrafts it should show the copied one twice in the list. If not I think it might be something deeper system related as stated before.

But before going down that route you should maybe just try to install a different downloaded aircraft (maybe not one of the airbus from that YouTube guy) for testing the process.)
There have been a rash of people here (probably due to the sale) that don't seem to understand how to do the basic tasks that more experienced users take for granted.
Look in
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft
There will be a set of folders there.
I prefer to use the "Heavy Metal" folder for larger commercial aircraft so if I am about to install a new aircraft called A320Neo I create a folder called...
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Heavy Metal\A320Neo
I then unpack the files from the Zip file or Archive into that folder at a root level retaining folder structures.
When I look inside this folder I will see things like
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Heavy Metal\A320Neo\objects
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Heavy Metal\A320Neo\liveries
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Heavy Metal\A320Neo\sounds
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\Heavy Metal\A320Neo\plugins
and other folders and files.
I want to install the Pilatus PC-7 from XFPR website on X-plane 11 but it seems it does not work.
Followed every step discussed above. Nothing helps.
Is it not compatible with the current version of X-Plane 11 or what?
Link?
Where I think you may be having issues is with your folder structure when you unzip the downloaded file.
1.When you unzip the A320neo.zip file, it may unzip with the following directory structure
(\A320neo\A320neo) with the files being in the 2nd A320neo folder (sub folder).
2. Copy only the 2nd A320neo folder with the folders (airfoils, cockpit_3D etc) and included .acf .obj .png etc files to your Steam Aircraft folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft) so it now looks like \Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\A320neo.
