X Plane 11 gekauft - NAV DATA OUT OF DATE - B737-800

Hallo,

ich habe mir vor ein paar Stunden XPlane gkauft. Gerade wollte ich meinen ersten Flug starten mit der Standard B737-800 vom X-Plane 11 selbst.

Allerdings kann ich kein FMC nutzen. Unten steht bei mir (ACHTUNG STANDARD XP11)
"NAV DATA OUT OF DATE"

Ich habe weder den AIRAC Cycle 1705 und wusste auch nicht das man dieses für Standard-Flugzeuge in XP 11 benötigt.

Das ist aber nicht mein einziges Problem. Selbst Flughafencodes kann ich nicht im FMC eingeben. Das FMC reagiert weder per Tasteneingabe noch per Mouse Cursor. Ist das ein Bug oder muss ich mir jetzt noch einen Cycle extra kaufen?! Weil dann würde ich das Spiel per Refund wieder an Steam zurück geben.

Ich gehe aber eher davon aus, dass es sich um einen Bug handelt. Hatte schon jemand mal dieses Problem?!

Hej,

I used Navigraph 1705 for XP11 and it's working for me. You probably messed-up installation process.

And where can I find information? In the FMC also key is not activated. Where should I find the key?

If you buy the game via Steam, it is installed directly without key input.

You have to copy extracted files from "xplane11_native_1705.zip" to proper XP11 directory, that I believe You will find on your own (my XP11 is currently uninstalled, so at this moment I can't tell which exactly - look for CIFP folder). Here is the tricky part: there is one file missing in xplane11_native_1705.zip - "cycle_info.txt". Just copy it from "airsimtech_native_1705.zip" and You are fine. See content of ".index" file inside "xplane11_native_1705.zip" - this will explain what I ment.

Hi, they understand me wrong! I bought only XPlane 11. I have neither an account with Navigragh nor use I extra cycle. The laminar standard B737-800 already with XPlane 11 from the beginning is with these problems.

Without which I have inserted per data and cycle or downloaded extra. The data the XP11 itself provides is <DATA out of Date> - If you want, you can buy an Airac cycle to keep it current.

I did not want that. Even so, the Cycle does not work with the XP11 when I'm buying on the plane.

The FMC does not even respond when I enter EDDL. It says: Out of Data - Key is not activated.

It is in this thread not to insert current Airac Cycle in XP 11. But first the XP 11 with outdated cycle works.

Does the AIRAC data from Navigraph work on it's own with XP11, or do you need extra add-ons?

I have FF Boeing 767 Professional and would like to update the FMS, will this work?

AX: I can't help You with that. I updated my XP11 straight away. I don't remember how it was before I updated AIRAC data :( I can only tell that You after update it works fine and You don't need to buy whloe Navigraph subscription to get it... You can buy just one cycle for 8EUR or... there are always other ways ;)

DT: Navigraph has a file dedicated to XP11 so it works out-of-the-box (simple extract&copy). Just remember about adding this one file as I described above. If it works on add-on 767 FMS - that's the different question. Let me know when You try it - I'd like to know the answer.

In addition, I have yet another small problem. Even on my park position with running engine my engines produce gray smoke. At first I thought it was because I had set down failures. But even after deactivation, my engines generate gray smoke.

Also all other aircrafts (KI) which I encounter in the air smoking engines. What is the attitude?

As I said. Failures are disabled.

As I said. Failures are disabled.

Virtually all payware aircraft will have the option to update the AIRAC cycle in some form or another, but it's best to check that each aircraft can be updated prior to buying a payware aircraft.

To disable puff smoke, press X.

The contrails in X-Plane 11 are pretty horrific - at high altitudes, you will get a horrible grey contrail about 100m behind you. Looks even worse when you have 19 AI aircraft flying around.

I can assure You it works on 737 that comes with out-of-the-box XP11. If it works on add-on planes, that I dont know (I don't have any yet). Let me know when You try :)

So I updated my Airac. It's very simple. But beware! It is a paid subscription. For almost 8,00 EUR you can download the current Cycles for 30 days. Quickly and easily.

Go to the following page:
https://www.navigraph.com/

Download the FMS Data Manager free of charge. BUT ATTENTION. If you want to use data, you need an ♥♥♥.

Select your xplane 11 folders and find the path
C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ X-Plane 11 \ Custom Data

Then just click on Update in the manager and you have the latest cycle. For me it runs in the Luminar B737-800 without problems.

Back up the Custom Data Order if there is data there.
Have fun flying.

I have subscribed to Navigraph, and updated, but my AIRAC but X-Plane still reporting the data is out of date.

I copied the cycle_info.txt etc to the correct folder too...

Cannot get the FMS updated in the 767, but there is a fella on youtube that has done it, so I am asking him... I have been googling, and apparently it's a trick based on XP10, but it seems you need some XP10 files...
