Ground Handling Deluxe
Anyone try this yet with XP11 and what's your opinion of its performance?

Any conflicts with X-Life Deluxe? You'd think its ok since they're both developed by the same name, but....

Well I tried to use it at a couple of airports - KBWI and KTPA. It crashed the Xplane - I think that is because it isn't included in the database that X-Life uses, but for now I am done with X-Life.

You'd think the developer would make their products compatible with each other right? I'm still on the fence about buying GHD.

Slim - I meant X-Life that was giving me the problem I have not tried GHD. Sorry if I confused you in any way.

Whats happening with X-Life?

I THINK it only works at "certain" aiprorts, and if you try and load it into a flight at a place that does not have it, then it crashes the sim - THINK - not know! But I am trying to investigate. Did you have any such problems. I know it WAS working because I sucessfully loaded onto one flight - I think Laguardia maybe as the starting point - May have been Philadelphia.

Yes. I posted something about this and it will work at airports not registered with X-Life. Let me find the post and I'll paste it.

X-Life generates ai traffic at airports. It doesn't claim to support EVERY airport and a popup warning will appear when you activate it at an unrecognized airport. I've noticed that, despite still getting this popup warning, it does work at unrecognized airports and that was odd to see.

I have downloaded 4 airports from the gateway (https://gateway.x-plane.com/), but I initially failed to notice that those particular airports have already been approved to be included in the current version of X-Plane. After noticing this, I decided to download them regardless of whether they had already been included as default airport scenery and discovered that X-Life will now generate ai traffic at those airports!

My assumption is that some of the custom airports, in my case all of them, from the gateway contain ground/air traffic coding that is recognized by X-Life, but this ground/air traffic coding is not included by default in some XP11 airports. Obviously, there was no visual difference between the default XP11 airports and the gateway airports I downloaded, but X-Life did generate traffic only after I downloaded the gateway airports.

Maybe the developer can shed some light on this and people who use X-Life (Free version or Deluxe) can try this method if they find its not generating ai traffic at a desired airport.

**If you get a popup warning that says turn on real weather or hot start again, then just go back into the X-Life plugin and hit the on/off button again. It will freeze your rig for about 20 seconds and then generate ai traffic**
