those xpl files are part of the map! Other plugins seem to work. I'm pretty clueless. I'd like to fly online (Vatsim) using X-Plane 11 and xSquawkbox.
What are the must have add-ons in your opinion? Are most XP-10 add-ons compatible with XP-11?
The must have ones that I own are the IXEG 737, FF 757, Rotate MD-80, JAR design A320, HD scenery Mesh v3, Multicrew Experience, RC4toXplane(Requires owning Radar Contact 4), and HD Airport Scenery to name a few.
There is another few must haves which I am conflicted about. I have Skymaxx v3 and real weather connector, but I'm not sure if I should upgrade to Skymaxx v4 or get xEnviro.
Anyway this is just a few of what I own and what I want, there are definitely others out there that I really want or others that I love already.
Edit: Also a good flight planner called EFASS is a must have imo. It is free for a limitation of waiting about 2 minutes to use it after starting it(I'm an impatient person, I bought it lol), but it is pretty great. Though there are definitely other great ones, this one is just my favorite.
Is there an Orbx Global'esque add-on for X-Plane?
Never thought I'd be this excited about X-Plane lol..
Never really looked for an Orbx Global alternative as I found the autogen paired with the HD mesh(Which has superior textures) to be on par with Orbx Global.
Now there is a tool out there called FSX2Xplane which I forgot to mention as a must have. This tool allows you to convert scenery for FSX to Xplane. I've done so for a few like KSEA and KMCO and it is amazing.
I feel the same about xEnviro. It isn't fully convincing due to the price, but it is the best weather addon we have for the time being. For a more advanced free weather program I would recommend the NOAA plugin(Definitely not on ASN level, but much better than the default).
Do you use Real Terra Haze with XP-11?
PS: Managed to get Squawkbox to work.
I used to, but I got fed up with FlyWithLua at one point and got rid of them both. I'll be giving it another go though as I really enjoyed the visuals.
Good deal.
