Will XP10 planes work with XP11?

Will pay ware or free ware planes and helicopters for X-Plane 10 work in X-Plane 11?

They should. They probably aren't fully compatible however, and bugs may exist, so look out for updates to bring them in line with 11.

In general: Yes. Most of them will need minor tweaks though to sort out a few rough edges. Especially if it's high-profile aftermarket planes with a lot of custom programming in them.

Discovered that the Carenado planes from X Plane 10 seem to work perfectly with X Plane 11. Have tried other planes and helicopters, but with no luck. If you own Carenado planes for XP10, you can use then with perfect functionality with XP11. Great news.

How did you get the Bell 412 to work under XP-11? I have the XP-10 version installed under XP-10.

I'm sorry for not being clear ;-) : the plus sign means "working", the minus means "not working"

yet I've redownloaded everything tonight (except for the Bush planes - unavailable), included the working ones (that have been upgraded): the bell has a XP10 and a XP11 version, and works perfectly

OK. Thanks for the clarification. I discovered that the Bell 412 does indeed have a separate download for XP10 and XP11. Because I already bought the XP10 version of hte Ball 412, I was able to download the XP11 version for free. It looks fantasticand flies as smooth as butter.

Also, all the XP10 Carenado planes work in XP11 with no need to redownload an XP11 version. The XP10 version works perfectly in XP11.
