Instant Warp/Teleport
In FSX, I could open the map and drag my plane to anywhere I wanted. This was nice to be able to do long haul flights in much shorter time frames, or to speed up relatively boring trips over water.
Is there an equivalent in X-plane? I know you can speed up time/ground speed, but I am hoping there is something akin to "quick travel".
I found this http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/26096-simple-warp/, which I think would work, but wanted to check here in case I am just missing something that is included in the native game.

You do it on map just drag the plane marker with hold left mouse button.

Thanks! This was the first thing I had tried, and it only served to drag the map around. But after your response, I tried again. For me at least, I need to first double-click on the plane marker (to bring up another popup on the map), and then I can drag the plane like you said. Thanks again.
