X-Plane 11 Retail has Aerosoft Airports by default, Steam edition does not

My friend had bought the retail digital version which includes the Aerosoft airports bundled with it and I saw he had Glasgow Airport EGPF however on my Steam X-Plane 11 version I am missing out on these, so there is some minor differences. However we have copied to USB stick so no longer an issue for me which others will have. I would have liked to have been told this before I purchased the Steam version.

YMML Melbourne has 3D in X-Plane out of the box, and the YSSY scenery from X-Plane.org is really really good.

Could you clarify DVD and Steam... I purchased the digital beta direct from the website so I'm neither. Do those apply to me too?

DVD is the same as the Digital Download version. It's the non-Steam version burned on DVD.

What's your setting on the world objects slider?

The number of World Objects was set to Medium. I have just tried the setting at Minimum, Low, High, and Maximum with no change in display.

Any ideas Phil as to why the Aerosoft airports are appearing and others are not?

I went to the community developer website;

and downloaded both the YSCB (Canberra) and YSSY(Sydney airports) by WEDBOT. Even after pasting them into the Custom Scenery Folder as instructed, nothing was there on X-Plane starting up.

Would it help to uninstall X-Plane and re-install it or is there something else i should be doing?

YSSY and YSCB are 2d only. WEDBot is the auto-import of the ground layout.
Again, a great scenery for YSSY is available for free download.
YMML seems to have been updated after we pulled the airports for the X-Plane 11 release. So you can either wait for the next time we roll all gateway airports into the X-Plane 11 update, or if you can't wait, download the scenery pack directly from the gateway website and install it manually.

Those 3 airports are included in the DVD Box.
