Apologies for the late response. Thanks for your feedback about the steering animation.
Do you experience this on all vehicles? Could you also provide a video demonstrating this?
Yes, this happens on all vehicles, including F1 and even boats if you can manage to reach ~110 MPH in those things.
This was made intentionally, and I can see why they did, but I'd just prefer without it. Like I said, I think they reduce the animation at high speed just so the animation doesn't look as exaggerated when driving fast.
The animation doesn't return to normal until you drop to I think about ~90 MPH or less, and you have to be driving straight, as the animation doesn't cancel until the steering is centered. If you drove fast enough to cause the animation (which by the way, isn't used when the hand is on the shifter, only when both hands are on the wheel), turned the wheel and stopped the car without straightening (like ripping the handbrake and spinning out), you can see the animation still 180 lock-to-lock when at a standstill until you center the steering again.
Sorry this is so confusing for you. I know you're only a lower-level customer service employee, so it might sound like I'm blabbering about nonsense lol. Any actual developers who've worked on the game would likely know more about this. When you're someone like me who is a bit more knowledgeable on video games and code and stuff, you kind of notice the smaller things like this in games, and then you can't unsee it.
Thanks for your response and explaining this in more detail. This does make sense, there is no confusion don't worry.
We just need to gather as much information as possible and a video demonstrating this so we can forward on your feedback.

Thank you for the video.
If you haven't joined our Ubisoft Discord Server [discord.com] yet I highly recommend it. It's a great place where players share their ideas and feedback on all our games, including The Crew Motorfest.
The server is actively monitored by our game team representatives, so popular ideas have a good chance of gaining traction and their attention.
Other players will be able to share their feedback on your suggestion, so when we pass it on to the game team, we will have more players' voices.
