Damn pop-up!

When I start the game, sometimes a message appears in the top right that I can access the menu with Shift+F2. I can't get rid of this damn pop-up so the only thing I can do is stop the game and restart it.

And even after restart the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pop-up remains.

Have a look at the Steam > In Game Settings. See if disabling the "Enable Steam overlay while in game".

Steam is not the issue, Ubisoft Connect is.
However, that can be disabled too.

I disabled the Ubisoft overlay and then the pop-up disappeared.

Press Alt-Enter -> Alt-Enter. Then it's gone without removing the overlay. The Overlay is needed if you wanna accept invites from mates.

The hole "GUI gets stuck" topic is complete wack in this game, that is correct.

My guy, I swear if that works I will add you and get you a Steam gift card

The Overlay is needed if you wanna accept invites from mates.

Tabbing out of the game also works though.

Edit: I tried it and it doesn't work.
