But yeah, cockpits look better in FH5, especially the digital cockpits. In TCM (and also TC2) you can tell which parts of the dashboard are from the actual car and which are TCM's speedometer.
In return though, the cockpit camera in itself is the best of any recent open world racer.
Because the latter is actually a bug. For some reason when you're in the interior customisation, it loads a low-res model of it which doesn't even properly display the changes, nor all paint styles.
But the topic is simple: the interior of some cars is terrible.
I am just trying to understand your point of view really.
For one, being able to paint the rims in matte is something I would welcome a lot. Like, a whole freaking lot.
For the other, there is a gain as it would allow for more customisation, which is good.
Things improving over time is a good thing, but more work being put into interiors to make them more high-res (and more ressource heavy) for details you will barely ever notice is just something I see as a waste of worktime (and in the long run, waste of money). Time that's better spent elsewhere (again, just my view on this matter).
