Problem with launching Motorfest

I bought The Crew Motorfest about a week ago and after the recent update I have not been able to launch Motorfest. An error code pops up that says quote: ("File corrupted! This program has been manipulated and maybe it's infected by a Virus or cracked. This file won't work anymore.") I have restarted my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled Motorfest but this error code is still showing up. Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix this problem?

Ditto, i've send in a ticked with ubisoft and as usually they don't care

B4 the update game was playing great. Now cannot start after the update. Asked for refund but got rejected. Wasted hard earn money 😑☠️😤

just a random idea, but try to make sure you got full permissions on the game folder and the one in the user files and all the contents, sometimes programs not being able read file or even folder contents will interpret it as being corrupted ..

bruh i bought both crew 2 and motorfest and above that my ubisoft account details got hacked........so that means i wont get my account back?

Game worked 100% no problems before the update. Now just keeps saying corrupt files blah blah blah no matter what you do.

Are you guys running an antivirus? If so, try disabling that and then launch Motorfest.

Okay, i don't know why this works and at first i was "aint no way that's the solution but you're a god danm genius!

I guess it's because whatever Antivirus you're running doesn't know the new files for Motorfest and thinks they're harmful or something.
Was just a shot in the dark and I am damn glad it worked.

if you got another drive or partition that is not system (C:), create steam library there and move the game over, that should help with random antivirus being stupid, and also with file permissions that can be little weird on system partition.
