Here's a FIX for the Ubisoft overlay problems.

Great game, I got it on sale for about $1 AU a while ago when Ubisoft was having financial problems I think ?
The one thing that bothered me the most was the Ubisoft overlay on the game screen, the (Press Shift + F2) overlay was covering my game credits, and when opening the overlay I couldn't get rid of it.
Problem solved !.... Do the following.

For starters, all links and stuff for daily challenges and to collect your rewards etc is on the Ubisoft overlay.
These links and rewards and daily challenges can be accessed through the Ubisoft launcher that launches the game.

We can turn off the in game Ubisoft overlay, removing the problems it causes, and just get your bonuses and stuff through the Ubisoft launcher later, or alt+tab in and out of the launcher and game.

To disable the overlay....
1. Open the 'Ubisoft Connect' launcher.
2. Click on your profile (top left corner).
3. Click on 'Settings.
4. Click on 'Interface'. 2nd icon down on the top left (looks like a PC screen).
5. UNTICK the box that says 'Enable in-game overlay for supported games'.

That's it, done.
When you launch the game again it will say overlays are disabled and may effect the game, and advises you not to continue, click ok (A) to continue anyway.

The game will now launch without the Ubisoft overlay screwing everything up.

And for those wondering how to handle game invites: you can just tab out of the game and use Ubisoft Connect on your desktop to invite players (or accept invites from others).
