But luckily it doesn't work that way and soon these greedy developers will go looking for a new job.
It's like this with me: No Steam? No Money! They won't have my time and my attention!
Agree , I won’t even get free stuff from epic & ubi even if they are free
However , someone else disagree and said we are doing this because we need a job and don’t have disposable income…literally opposite of what we are doing
This guy

Ubisoft is the publisher, not the developer. Ivory Tower is the developer, and the publisher is the one who provides the platform and who dictates the price of the product (in relation to the cost for development, that is).
The developers are not the greedy ones. Not here, not in any other case. Except for indie developers, but that's a whole different story.
The sad part is that many developers lose their jobs because of publishers deciding to axe studios. Look at EA for example. They decided to close down Slightly Mad Studios.
Since I do a lot of gameplay on my Youtube channel I was forced to buy it on Ubisoft Connect, but I don't like to do it... I hate when developers/publishers force you to buy on other platforms, all games should be both on developers launcher and ALWAYS on Steam as well.
