However, Crew Credits can also be earned in the game by completing challenges.
All vehicles, bar 3 exceptions or so, can be purchased using Bucks.
what do you mean by normal currency? in game money like you earn in every other racing game?
Crew Credits are the game's premium currency. They can be obtained by buying Crew Credit packs, but they can also be earned in the game under specific conditions (but they're rare, sort of).
thanks. just a few other things i need to know
1. is the AI improved since launch
2. keyboard controls any good ? since i hate playing with controller and i don't have space for a wheel.
2. Keyboard controls are customisable. However I have no idea how the game plays on keyboard (I play with a controller).
Keyboard Controls feel surprisingly good but you will have to adjust a couple things in terms of Key Bindings and Wheel Radius for more comfort. Personally, i did not have problems adjusting myself to default Keyboard Settings but i can imagine that DRIFT events can be a tad harder.
Keep in mind that you certainly will need to turn on assists, such as ABS, Traction Control and Stability Control if you really want to play with Keyboard (except for drift events obviously) so you keep having an enjoyable experience. I tested those assists pretty good and they DO NOT make you significanlty slower than with OFF settings. In fact, a lot of races are way easier to win with those on since the AI also have those (at least it feels/ seems like it)
As for Traction Control, turning it off in TCM puts you at a disadvantage. I normally play all my games without TCS, but in Motorfest it just makes the launch so much slower, which is anything but helpful for Summit and Grand Race.
