i dunno the player count on ubiconnect or consoles
The game has been out for half a year before it released on Steam.
yeah.... but epic exclusivity deals are usually a year.... did they break the deal
after 7 months because of low sales and the bad sbi detect drama...
(odd that it did not seem like a planned listing on steam at a 6 month deal )
and sidwaj has gone to forza...
steamdb says 121 players right now...
and? most people play from console or bought the game from the original launcher just check the leaderboards its far from a dead game
Same energy. Just because Steam has comparatively low numbers doesn't mean people from the other 2 PC-platforms (Epic, Ubisoft Connect) don't play the game.
well.... what are the correct current up to date stats for active users....
i say things cant be that great if the contract with epic was cut short
to grab some steam dollars... and the steam dollars do seem a bit low....
What you can do is hop int the game and filter the Summit's leaderboard by players who are on PC. This will show you how many players have participated in this week's Summit.
You say the contract has been cut short, but who says it really was cut short? Maybe it was just half a year of exclusivity.
Plus, by cutting a contract short and thusly breaking the contents of a contract, Ubi would have to pay Epic games a buttload of money (after all, Epic pays publishers money for exclusivity; if any publisher were to break said deal they'd most certainly not just sit there silently and let that happen).
true... but we just dont know... its all wheelers and dealers behind the scenes
there could be a failing sales clause in there....
and epic is on the back foot as they would need
to be nice to ubi for future deals... no one really needs epic...
steam sales are low.... and i am going to wait for
a super cheap deal or the next best offline thing to hit the store...
Ubisoft should start respecting those who pay its revenue and bring back The Crew 1 with offline mode
