wall frame frustration!

Anyone else getting an issue when placing wall frames?? the bottom part of the doorway will never place and the only way around it is to save and reload the game :(

Just started the game up with the missus after a long break. Not played since June due to this bug. How is it still in the game?

I just ran into this issue myself. Tried loading an old save and redoing all the work to that point, saved before finishing ceiling concrete, and had the same issue. Loaded save again many times and still the same issue. Not sure what to do at this point..

Same for me. Did all the yellow highlights for the wall frame and it says 70 out of 90 or something and don’t see where else to put them. There’s non on the bottom but it’s also not lighting up for me to place them. >_< tried saving and restarting 5 times. No luck. Should I just cancel the job?

i just ran into the same issue and the save and reload not working. saw a thread on reddit where people said placing a door fixed the issue for them, and lo and behold - it works! placing one door was enough for the rest of the framing to work again

I was able to place the door first then the game allows you to complete the last pieces of framing. Super frustrating because it took a few days to figure this out. I can't wait for this game to be fully developed and hopefully on consoles.

Put a door in! I saw someone post it on another thread so I tried it yesterday and it works. I put one door where there was a bottom highlighted piece and after that I was able to put boards on all of them.

I can confirm- this works well. You can then remove the door after placing it.

Aye, the Workaround dont help.
Yes, you can finish the wood work but then you cant finish the fasssade work and/or you cant installl windows and doors because of the (missing) sub basement.
We really need a bugfix and we need it asap.
