New build miscalculating wood frames, insulation and drywall

Hi

Designed a new build but it generally gets the amount of wood frames, insulation and drywall incorrect leaving me to buy some more.

Baseboards and crown moulding seem to be the same.

Estimating the job requirements accurately is actually a points based skill you have to acquire. You can eventually max it out to 100% ... but... it's still sometimes wrong. Particularly with rooms that have, say, an L shape. It still seems to mess up calculating the Base Boards and Crown Mouldings.

Which skill is needed? I have most maxed out and the ones missing have nothing to do with estimating equipment accurately.

Both of the issues so far have been L-shaped rooms, so think this is something that needs looking at. It is strange that it knows I am missing some (and how many) but didn't calculate it correctly at the start.
