Pretty frustrating trying to figure out how to even lay the walls out on the first build. Any tips on how to make the size match?

Hey planning phase is a bit hard till u get used to it
First u start with exterior walls if the mission says u need 70m2 make it a bit more cause thats required room size and u will probably be adding some interior walls so thats gonna be -m2 for the room size thats why we made some extra space
After u put the exterior walls just assign the rooms and make sure they are matching with the mission needs if its a buıld mission.
Then put the interior walls around them. After that if u have some little tiny unassinged space left just extend the room u just made. So u dont get and error for having a little room or a unassigned room.
İf everything is fine till here u can start placing your doors and windows, Remember u should have an acces to every room other wise u will get an error about it.
For the tips; Use the check button a lot while planing so if youre making a misstake u can see it right after rather then doing all that thing and getting an error

I typically just make my exterior walls the entire box and then build out what I need. It definitely gets easier after the first one. I’m working in my 3rd flip now.
