5x times I have died because the scissor ghost just blocks Linda path to escape. He gets three to four hits to her and due to the hurt animation, you can't do anything and poof! you're off to Limbo.......
The scissor boss isn't actually as hard as you make him out to be.. you have to rely on the audio cues from the game (try it w/ a head set!) as the sound will come from the direction he will spawn. Alternatively if you don't have a headset then always give yourself running distance. Try and stick to the middle of the room... once you hear the snipping sound go in camera mode and look around...once you see the boss run back the opposite direction then hit the boss w/ the camera.
Yes it's tricky but not impossible.
As you said, it's tricky but I'm a casual gamer. I just don't have the reflexes (twitch) to react to the suddenness required.
The game would be great if it gradually introduce you the world mechanics and demonstrate how to battle ghosts with increasing difficulty. I won against the screaming ghost woman only through sheer luck and through 14x camera battles without any understanding that you have to shoot her back. And the win was due to the ghost being stuck to a wall while I'm trying to move around in camera mode out of the rooms.
Sad to say, I'm not much into playing this again. It's just too infuriating to keep dying and depend on luck to win, and watching poor Linda running further and further into the light each time....
Sincerely,
Just a frustrated gamer.
The developers need to inform players that audio plays an important role to the scissor man battle. For me, I just treated it as the usual sound effects that have no bearing to gameplay.
The sound emitting from notebooks is easily understood only on the left and right channels. If the ghost is behind, I couldn't tell.
After dying maybe twenty times (lol) I managed to beat him without being hit by staying in the middle of the room and look around me until I saw the dude and then "click" ^^.
Devs, if you guys do tone down the sissor boss can you put difficulty options in the game so that people who want sissor boss to be easy can play the game on EASY difficulty
Personally I did not find the sissor boss hard at all, I don't know what people are complaining about
