64-bit graphics?
Earlier in the year, there was an announcement that the game downgraded to 32-bit textures with 64-bit to come back later. When will it come? I've been waiting for the high quality textures to make a comeback before I start the game.

i've never heard of 64bit graphics! I thought it was 16, 24 & 32bit...

The 32 bit version of the game has higher quality textures than the 64 bit version. So those of us on 64 bit systems are waiting for the devs to put the higher quality textures back in to teh 64 bit version of the game.

Since when does upgrading your game to 64 bit make textures look worse? Idk what these devs are talking about.

Im also waiting for HD textures before beginning the game. I also plan on trying reshade to force strong ambient occlusion

The demo looks like ass. Does the full game look better? That''s all thats stopping me.

Gee, I though maybe it was the $3.74 you have to put forward to buy the game right now. I guess you're waiting to get it full price?

I'll wait for the next person to help. Thanks anyway.

The question more clearly is "Is the demo a good representation of the full game?" thanks in advance.

Honestly, I just got this and I'm saving it for a rainy day. Looks legit; like Siren, or Fatal Frame.

I don't see any difference in quality between the 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Is there a special way of activating the high quality textures in the 32 bit game? I have the graphics in both set to "fantastic." Maybe it's just too subtle for me to notice.

Looking at this because my gf and I loved Fatal Frame, is it really that bad??

Apparently, both 32- and 64-bit versions of the game use the lower quality textures, and we have to wait for the devs to put them back in some day.

The devs have said they'd add them at a later stage, which they said about a year ago. So far they've NEVER replied to any threads to give an ETA, so don't buy as long as this isn't fixed.
yeah right i remember this ♥♥♥♥ from when i played the demo months ago... it is confirmed they didnt fix it? guess i won't buy and support this nonesense then bye bye digital sadness

If low quality textures are preventing you from buying a game that's less than 4 dollars than power to you. All I can say is you're missing out on an amazing game and I feel a little bad for you that you judge a games playablity and entertainment value from it's graphics.

The in-game engine is quite good for it's time. It's just the pre-rendered stuff that's an issue.

Furthermore, anybody who thought textures would look better in 64bit vs 32bit or vice versa is an idiot. The only -main- plus from running a game in 64 bit vs 32bit is better memory addressing. You're not limited to 4 gb.
