Game breaking bug

So, after getting killed by the red lady in act 2 I get ressurected in another place like intended but without a head. Shortly after that the game crashed. After reloading the game I'm in a black void where I can only see the moon.
Reloading multiple times doesn't help. Reinstalling the game doesnt't work. Deleting the save and starting a new game from act 2 doesn't work.
Please fix your buggy game. It seems that quite a few people encountered this bug but I didn't find a solution.

Wow, that's one heck of a weird glitch. I am so glad I was able to get the best possible ending with my bulky camera glitch being the worst. I loved this game's ideas, and its development but, it is indeed buggy, and glitchy, to this day.

I'm beginning to wonder if some alternate setting might allow that to be bypassed. Just throwing it out there, and good luck.
