Missable Achievements?
Anyone got a list of missable achievements?

I only learnt about the "Sightseeing" achievement after I was done with that quest so that basically invalidated my whole run.

Any other achievements I should keep in mind? Thank you for your time.

There are 5 "missable" achievements, 1 the normal ending, as was already stated. 2 the one for beating true ending on hard mode from beginning to end, although this would almost certainly require a second play-through anyway. 3 the one for using shidu in the final battle, which I'm pretty sure doesn't work on the arena re-fight unless you do it during the actual battle, but correct me if I'm wrong here. 4 the speedrun achievement for beating the game in less that 3:30 hours, (also probably a separate play-through). and 5 the sightseeing achievement, which requires you to partially complete a quest after the temple of seasons, but before the festival and do the true ending without turning it in.

Go for the normal ending first, because if you go for the true ending, you can't see the normal ending and get its achievement unless you use /commands or do another playthrough.

I still need to know what achievements are missable or not regardless of ending, otherwise even if I get the normal ending, if I already missed something before then I'll have to redo the entire game, like in the case of "Sightseeing", I could do the Normal Ending, but if I never knew about it I'll have to replay the entire game again to get this achievement when getting the True ending.

The only missable achievement is the one for getting the normal ending.

What about the "Sit Down" Achievement that requires knocking Marino down with a perfect guard?

I appreciate the answers folks.

You can redo that, I think, in the boss battles in the arena.

I got the bug net achieve in an arena redo

Do you remember if this achievement is received when you first fight Marino in front of the mansion? I did get some perfect guards on him in my last attempt, but I don't remember him being knocked down or anything.

Thanks. I'll keep those in mind.

You have to perfect guard all of his 4 hit combo when he gets up close to you.

Anytime you fight Marino is doable. You can do perfect guard ALL of his quick short range 4-5 hit combo. Fail one and he doesn't fall over. Perfect guarding his telegraphed dash attack doesn't work.

Perfect guarding his shadow clones also knock them over but I don't think you get the achievement.

Shouldn't Shiidu technically is not missable since the final boss is still there? You probably have to fight him and the other boss again but its not like your save file is gone or anything.

The Shiidu achievment can still trigger in the arena, I got it that way.

It's sad to say, but the developers are shoddy at best, and don't listen to player feedback in most cases.

I've brought Mesido all the way from the Evergrind Festival to the True Ending 6 times now, and still have yet to get the achievement.

The game is dead, with only those trying to collect achievements being the majority of the ones still hanging on, but failing to realize that the developers have given up on updating or listening to player feedback. If only they would have, the game would have been something very good, and would have netted them a substantial revenue increase.

I'll be installing soon simply for the reasons I've listed above. I bought this on release day and it's still as bad as it was then. Sad.

Try using twi-sight in Tai Ming, specifically inside the temple... try again then.
