I can literally not get this game to start.
Tried everything in the fixes thread and its still not working.
Does anyone maybe have any other solutions? :/

Switch to the Frontline beta (it has a newer error report program), and send in an error report with a text I can easily identify (like "Hey, PunkCupcake here")! I'll have a look at it first thing in the morning. Hopefully it's something easy to fix!

For some reason I can't see the report! Maybe you have some firewall that blocks it from being sent? :(

One fix you could try, by the way, which for some reason isn't listed in the thread of fixes is to verify the game's cache!

Right click on game in library, select properties, go to Local Files and then click Verify Integrity of Game Cache

hmm I'm gonna send another one right now (it's allowed through my firewall and theres no AV blocking it or so)
and I already tried to verify the game cache but it doesnt help :/

Kind of makes me wonder how many reports might have disappeared into the void! I should add a button in the error reporter to copy the error report to clipboard or something, for situations like these.

If you feel that's a bit too much work (which I totally get if you do), then I think you should refund the game before the 14 day auto-refund period ends. It would suck if you waited and it turned out to be some major incompatibility that we couldn't solve!

If you refund, you could try the demo later down the road to see if the problem has been resolved in a later/full version of the game.

I would never refund this game tho. It's awesome (I own it basically since its available on the website) and I love it.
I didn't have that error b4. just didn't play for some time.

Okay so, I don't think you will believe this but I copied the GBER.exe into the BugReport folder and now the game works.
Starts asap and no problems at all what so ever.
I've got no clue why it works now.

I tried revalidating the files and with the old GBER.exe in there again it starts crashing again immediatly after startup. Sorta weird..

Wow, that's some X-Files level weirdness! I'll need to think about how that could happen...
