Suggestion for Pets!!
Heya, I love this game. It's got lots of variety and even farming the same ol' area can get intense in Hard mode!:Redshuriken::NinjaEnemy:

As for Pets, it seems they're mainly only good for being a distraction to the player. The amount of stats they can give is very negligible too... even after lots and lots of hard work! Please allow pets to be able to attack and protect their owner! Maybe even give them skills if you could. Thanks again! :lhwifi:

I think the game's lore says that if a pet attacks then it becomes a monster,

You can turn pets invisible if you want.

Also secondly, pets can give a LOT of stats.

My slime pet for example gives +68% bonus HP. That is NOT negliable.

I also have a Gift Box pet that gives me over 120 energy, and on another character, a Rabby that gives around 130% attack and casting speed. These are also not negliable.

Ah well if you've been grinding your pet for that long then yes it does give a great buff. But they still seem a bit plain for a pet. Something that attacks or casts spells is more along what I'm looking for.

That is a rediculous amount of stats on a pet. How many hours grinding mobs or fishing did that take, and what part of the game had you yet to complete where you needed all that power?

Yeah it is a lot of grinding. We have about the same amount of hours yet he's got all these puts with 50-60 level ups in certain stats! I won't believe it unless I see a screenshot.

On another note, I am the type to keep making new characters for new build ideas hehe.

Depends. I play a lot of different characters on the story for different builds, and I delete those extra characters, but I still transfer items over before I delete them onto my main characters via drop trading.

In terms of fishing, one of my pets has over +30% crit chance, and the only way to get crit exp is via fishing. That's been a lot of hours of fishing on a mule character on a pet I'm probably not gonna use anyways. A few other fish are of course collected in the intern though, which also helps my other pets (which I do use).

Unfortunately, when my SSD died, my fishing mule didn't survive the data transfer, so I haven't been fishing since. I had backed up the actual two characters I used though (thank god) since they were actually important. So they're A-OK. The fishing character was only like level 6 or something (because I was fishing in the pillar mountains/west of Ever Grind city) but the record I was keeping on a character for "how long I've wasted my life fishing" is gone. It was up in the 400 some hours, though. I'd just fish as I was listening to an audio book or something.

Of course, some of those hours were also spent drop trading and distributing the fish between my characters.

I don't always play the game on Steam. So the time I play when I'm not on Steam isn't logged. Usually the reason I do this is so my library is free for my brother so he can still play games off of my account while I can still play Secrets of Grindea.

To that end, buying pet food (which before was actually stat potions) was a thing as well. And it's basically where I dumped all of my money. The Temple of Seasons before it got nerfed made a LOT of money. I could clock in at around 500K gold in about 2 hours or so on average depending on the drop rates. It was easily the best place to farm for gold, and it still adequetly leveled up as well. Now since the gold rate of there has been nerfed, and plants were also serverely nerfed, it's not so potent anymore. Probably still the best place for gold in my opinion because their misc items sell for a lot still, but it's definitely not as good as before.

On my attack speed character, I can roughly kill at the same rate as before when I could just pop plants on my mage and... stand still, until I needed to pop more plants -- but he's an attack speed character. It requires a lot more spamming of buttons. It's helluva more fun, but it quite literally physically wears on you by the time a single hour has passed, if not before then.
