[SPOILER] Was the Mimic Boss intentionally hard...

It was exceptionally challenging even when playing with multiplayer.

For some reason it was immensely hard for me the first few times attempting it, then all of a sudden I blew through the whole fight no prob.. I think it really comes down to your timing and to keeping on the move to avoid damage.. Shouldn't have anything to do with it being the last updated boss.. Considering each consecutive boss should be more difficut than the previous; the most recent should always feel harder, right?

I didn't have much problem with it but my build was for rapid DPS, so between each uh...stage of him I typically was able to grind down more than half his HP before he even fully awoken and attacked.
Except the last stage, had to back off and heal a bit but I ignored everyone else and just went full ham on him til he died.

its not final boss. The next one will probably be even harder ;)
As for me, my main charcarter had 0 issues with him.

Tips for him? This is where I am right now, and I get the Ancient about half way and then die.

I have played the entire thing alone, no multi player.

@androidgal - take your time in slowly draining ancient hp, once minions spawns kill them 1st before continuing hitting ancient (killing ancient too fast will spawn lots of waves of minions which can overwhelm you very quickly)

ALTERNATIVELY Since this is a beta, may be a good time to try a new build using the awesome /respec command.

I'll try slower, and what do you mean /respec what does that do?

Push enter during gameplay to bring up the chat, and type in /respec to have all the skill specs returned to you for free, allowing you to rebuild your character skill set

I guess at this point it's just card collecting and item collecting, so good luck.

Is there a list of what items there are? So I know what I am looking for? Cards, I know where a list is for that, but not sure for items, like hats, shields, etc.

Uhhhh theres an enemy index which shows things dropped by enemies..
Aside from that theres the crafting items, and a few misc items you find in chests and such using the map as a reference (it'll show you events not completed or chests needed, fish etc).
