18+ patch problem?

its most likely that i patched the game wrong but whenever 18+ scenes comes up the background is black. is this my fault or is that whats supposed to happen.

So, I went ahead and experimented for you, and this is what I discovered:

1: you need to download the free 18+ DLC on JAST USA (I assume that is where you got the patch)

2: you need to open Mojika's local files, and at the same time, pull up your file explorer to where your 18+ patch is

3: You need to drag the file that says "patch" over to the game, and let it copy the files

4: you need to drag both "script npk" and "system npk" over to the local files, and click overwrite existing files

The way to tell if the patch is properly installed is, upon opening the game, it reads "Adult content warning" along with the typical spiel about needing to be 18 years or older. If, upon launching the game, it does not give a content warning, then the patch was not properly implemented.

I'm having the same problem but I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, I've got the folder that says patch and inside it is _base.npk, On a couple tries I dragged the folder and the file inside by itself, I've never been prompted about copying the files. Am I missing something?

Having the same issue - 18+ scenes are all text with a black background. On steam deck

To avoid confusion, copy the folder patch and the files script.npk and system.npk to the folder where Majiko is installed (something like \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mojika).
Since script.npk and system.npk are already there, you will get an 'overwrite files' popup.

If you didn't get a prompt about overwriting files, then you did something wrong.

I did all this, yet the game is still the same. I don't know what am I doing wrong.

did you put the files inside the patch folder into the game directory or did you put the patch folder itself?
