links 2003 still the best
i've played every tiger woods since 98 mostley on pc and xbox 360 and any other golf game in between. This golf club game is great for people who want to make courses, and like a bit of fun, but for actual gamepay and courses avalable, nothing beats links 2003. The only thing links is missing is atmosphere, other than that there is no other golf game comes close to it. Unfortuanatley for those who like to golf with joypads this golf club game is your best option for now. The only game i can see that will rival links is perfect golf, but when or if it will ever be released is a mystery to us all.

Without a doubt HB has a long way before it can reach the realism and options of Links. This is not to say HB couldn't do; the question, more properly, is, if they have any desire to do it.

I've been trying to get it to play @1920x1080 but no luck so far.

Actually the best golf simulator was Pga Golf Championship 99 by sierra, it was even a lot better than Pga Golf Championship 2000, it doesn't matter how old its graphics look its playbility was the best and its way to adjust every shoot you were going to do was even better than Links 2003.

Links 2003
The 1.07 upgrade allows HD 1920x1200.
Im a big fan of The Golf Club, really looking
forward to people making real courses.
It is very cool playing all of the real big
name courses on Links 2003. Links Corner
has a thousand real HD courses for free.

8 - 1280 x 960 **
7 - 1280 x 800
6 - 1280 x 768 **
5 - 1280 x 720
4 - 1600 x 1200 ***
3 - 1280 x 1024 ****
2 - 1024 x 768 ****

Is this list considered the "real HD courses":
Current search - 2003 (High-res textures) COURSES
249 record(s) returned

Or what setting do I need to choose to see the full list of the thousand real HD courses?

Thanks

yes mate, there are thousands of courses, but the HD texture ones have only been released in the last few years. The older ones are not HD but there are alot of them, but saying that Tehioterangi is one of my favorites and it's not an HD course, there's plenty of great courses that aren't HD textures. BTW if any of you reading this post play links 2003 on game ranger, add me to your friend list, skymarshall

Yes Sir, You are correct about the 249 hi res texture
courses. I apologize no intention to mislead anyone.
It was not meant literally but as a manner of speaking.
I play every links course at 1920x1200 both old and new.

Skymarshall_uk
You are totally correct. Thank you for the invite. I don’t
do game ranger but the invite is greatly appreciated.

I think Links 2003 is the last one that let you set your own club distances. I want another sim like that.
