1. NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M (worked right after install. all the menus worked and the golfer would fully show up, but the sky and the course were pink. Now when I start the game it says fatal error and Direct3D 11 compute shaders are not available)
2. NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150m / nForce 630m (worked right after install. all the menus worked, but instead of pink course and sky everything was black and the golfer wasnt showing up. Now when I start the game the same fatal error comes up)
Does anyone have a fix for this? MS has a downloadable offerring at
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23803
, is that a solution or just more heartache? Been looking for a game for some months now, I seriously never considered that the devs would employ something that seems so esoteric. And they really ought to have a system test so we can test and see if we are compatible before they claim the dough.
Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)!
My suggestion is buy a new video card... that's the only suggestion if you ever want to play this game... and at the bottom of the store page it tells you the system requirements.
I have the MSI twin razor fan gaming something or other 760... it runs fairly quiet and cool... so far, it's been an excellent card... the more you pay, generally the higher quality product you're going to get.
