Hitting driver 150 yards, are you kidding me?

Ok, so I take the club back slow, then push forward. I hit the ball 150 yards... are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me? I've been playing golf my entire life and this game doesn't make sense. It's like the publishers have never played the game their designing. 15 handicap, and can't do anything with distance, your game is broken.

Are you swinging really slow? If so, that could be the problem. My drives range from 270 - 310.

dunno what your doing wrong but i can hit over 300 yrds on my driver. Its the power your hitting it is whats going on here im thinking, because there is no meter you probably cannot tell how hard your hitting the ball. Wait for the entire swing to go back as far as possible before you move the swing forward to hit it, it sounds like your not waiting long enough to take the shot.

Not sure whats going on with the OP, but hopefully he can get it working properly. I have no issues hitting around 300 yrds with the driver, and many members of the development team of this game are avid golfers -

Try lowering the land and water will appear. No need for a water tool.

What do you mean, you're supposed to swing slow.
Low and slow means you should focus on doing it proper, not that you're going to hit it farther if you move like a sloth. Would you call any golf pros swing SLOW?!

lol @ this thread. unless you are moving your stick at a snails pace, then you should be hitting 260 easily. any normal swing pace is going to get you accurate results....blaming the game for your inability to play...lol

It's swinging to the right tempo for your shafts. Tempo is the key, not swinging slow or too fast. The flexibility of the shafts are varied between sets to be in tune with the tempo of the player. I don't know about changing shafts in this game as you could with TW games in the past, but swinging slow is not how that should have been phrased.

YOU MUST swing forward fast. If you are using a mouse mouse support for right now sucks really bad. If you will simply use the x box 360 controller that the game is designed to use the game is fantastic
