Monitor Set Up -
1st 2560x1440
2nd 1920x1080
If you haven't already, could you try starting in windowed and pressing alt-enter after dragging the window to each display (to see if the problem is specific to one display)? Maybe also see if changing the resolution in the startup dialog helps?
I've personally used it on machines with 2x 1080p, and 1200p + 1440p, but I always ran the game using the native resolution of the screen.
I did try just dragging to the monitor and using Alt+Enter to enter fullscreen mode on both screens for both screens resolutions(1080p and 1440p), but it just does the same thing as when I try running it from Fullscreen at the start. It basically puts the window in the middle across both displays, so half on my tv and half on my monitor. When trying to swap to full screen it goes black for a few seconds, and then goes back to it's default state of the window being across my two displays.
Errr, I'd rather be able to use fullscreen than get live multiplayer.
GPU is an Nvidia GTX 560m (2GB VRAM)
Laptop built in screen runs at 1600x900
external monitor runs at 1920x1080 (this is set in Windows to be my primary display)
Pressing ALT+ENTER when the game is on my external monitor does absolutely nothing.
Pressing ALT+ENTER when the windowed game is on my laptop screen does make it go full screen on the laptop screen. (which is unusable for me since my laptop sits about 3 feet above the height of my head)
GTX 470
i7 3770K
Sony HDTV 1080p
Having the same issue, can start game in windowed mode.
Alt-Enter from windowed crashes the game.
Same issue at multiple resolutions
EA v0.1 installed 4/19
1. Mouse does not lock to the game screen so I often find myself hitting the ball and on the up stroke my mouse is on my laptop monitor (game is playing on my external monitor which is set up as my primary monitor) and so many times now I'm taken out of the game because I've clicked or something when the mouse is off the game screen.
2. Game will minimize on it's own from full screen occasionally for me, and there's no way to bring it back up. Tried ALT+TAB, tried clicking the icon on the task bar, nothing works, Have to kill the golf.exe process in task manager.

just to inform the devs: when i started the game from my desktop item there were no options for resolution, it started in windowed mode and when i toggled to fullscreen with alt+enter there was a black frame around. only when i started out of my steam library there came the options to choose. since chosen my resolution it worked.
