.... Which is better for the Golf Club?
Got this on the summer sale. Have opened it a few times and like what I see but the control system is still a mystery???

So KB/mouse or Controller? Which is easier to learn? Which is the superior control method?

Advice appreciated...

should be set to x-input, that is what the game supports, you will have limited functionality with d-input.

I'm a mouse and keyboard player on the PC.

Tried both, more comfortable with mouse/KB.

Try both, make your own mind up.

From what I have learned though, the game is based on controller usage.

I started out playing K/M, but had trouble getting 100% at times. Switched to my Logitech F310 and would either get 100% or occasionally 85%. No idea why. Reading the HB forums, they say to go with an XBox or PS4 controller, that the F310 wasn't that great. Not sure why that may be so, but probably will try a different controller. Any thoughts on this?

I to started out on K/M but finding hitting straight alot easier with 360 controller

So far I have only played mouse (sensitivity set to 70 or higher, it wouldn't work otherwise for me). It's designed for a controller, though. Didn't stop e getting a -4 in my second complete round!

Just went out and picked up an XBox One PowerA Controller and it is lightyears better that the Logitech F310 I was using. Getting 100% all of the time now. Lovin' it!

Never get less than 100 percent with my mouse unless I subdue the swing. If you use a mouse it's just a simple quick mouse move forward for a 100% stroke. Takes a little getting used to but I can also adjust for slice and draw by mouse direction without shaping my shots with the SHIFT key. It's all good though. Enjoy the game and stroke it til it comes to you! Cya online!

Mouse works fine here - 100% swing is a given unless I get distracted mid backswing and forget to let go and dump the shot. It is more a matter of timing than anything else but adjusting the sensitivity until you get the right swing length is essential (IME you want something fairly short but long enough that putting doesn't become impossible).
