The ending *spoiler*
I just did both ending. One destroying the complex and the other becoming singularity. The one becoming singularity was quite disapointing imo. The ending is litteraly a 5 second cutscene with no explanation at all. But the other one was quite better. You see halmond being arrested and media saying that the complex was put in court and all. And because I saved the clones with Lain's program, they say that the clones are free and cant be found ( I assume they live hapily ever after). So imo the "real" ending is the one where you destroy the complex and save the clones. But I didnt tried killing the clones and the complex to see if it gave a different ending. Anyway good game, felt good finishing it after doing it like 10 times in early access.

PS. Also theres some minus bug in the credit. Names sometime overlaps each other, and I found that in the part of the voice overs, some name are associeted to the wrong pictures.

I did save the clones / become the singularity. Since that seemed the "good" choice. Disappointed with the lack of any ending besides that 5 second cutscene of a face but eh, the choice itself was the ending really. I think I prefer it to just be "you are the god now" and not give any further details. Leaves more to the imagination.

Just completed it myself....considering the crow's final speech, it is tempting to wonder if the 'destroy the complex' option really is 'taking the blue pill'. Still... quite pleased with the game. Even if it turned a bit more existential than I expected towards the end.

(It was foreshadowed from the start, though.)

Saving the clones would let you remote control them as the singularity, if I understood Raycast correctly. (They were susceptible to remote control by the AI, and that feature is a dominant genetic trait). Basically you become cybergod with a growing flock of minions... not sure if that's a good thing. Not something I'd trust someone else with, and certainly not myself.

So if you don't save the clones, you can't get the Singularity ending? When I tried it, there wasn't even an end scroll.

I wished there had been more of an 'end' it sorta feels like I finished the games story, but not Dex's story.

Anyway thoroughly enjoyed the game, and could have easily played on for 10-15 more hours had the game been that much longer :-)

I dont know, but I felt the ending I got was good. The cutscene went for about 1 min

...Is the singularity ending *meant* to be basically the cyberpunk version of 2001's ending?
kalaong May 14, 2015 @ 8:58pm
Okay, as far as I can tell, the available endings are chosen back at the "Undisclosed Location".

Help Raycast kill off the other clones and shut down the project, and when you complete the White Room you can choose to shut down the Complex.

Rat out Raycast, and when you complete the White Room you can become the new Crow.

But both options have the little box at the end where you can attempt to fuse with Kether, which gives you the acid trip ending.

I just want to be sure that the acid trip is *intended* to be the Singularity ending, because it's a little jarring that after you defeat the GSV the final gauntlet is a series of non-operational turrets.

The first ending I chose was to take over and rule The Complex. In my cutscene though Hammond wasn't under arrest, and there wasn't any media about The Complex going to court or anything. Just showed Dex and Hammond at what appears to be some kind of meeting with other random people in a board room. I don't really know what it was I did differently to get that cutscene.

I also loaded the final chapter after having completed the game to see what happened when you merged with Kether. Kind of disappointing I guess, but there's not much really to show either, you basically just become supernatural and are capable of controlling clones and you practically own Cyberspace, similar to Raycast.

You can tell this game draws a lot of inspiration from the original Deus Ex to an extent. Overall though, great game. It was fun. (:

Like I said I save the clones in the unknown location and decided to destroy the complex in the white room. All the clones were free and could not be chased ( because of Lain's program). Hammond is arrested and the whole complex is bring to court to be judge. After that it end with Dex with a small smile while she walks the crowd. That for me is the best ending.

Yes that's it, there are 3 possible endings. Based on what you decide in the "Undisclosed Location", one of the endings becomes unavailable, so you always only end up with 2 choices at the end: "Singularity" and "Rule the Complex" OR "Destroy the Complex".

Singularity ending could've done with more consequences shown. Are people happy and the cities clean/efficient? Were you even successful at merging? The acid trip leaves it so ambiguous, I'd wonder if it means you "failed" to merge with Kether.

Some "Where are they now?" for the NPC's like 'Tony' you got to care about wouldn't hurt. Ending seemed rushed, especially the final "trials". More options for character interactions to matter would be great.

Mass Effect 3 style ending. 1) Destroy the Reapers/Complex 2) Rule the Reapers/Complex 3) Merge with the Machine(s).

You need brackets. Otherwise, this means either the first two options or the last one :D:

I was a little put off by the abrupt ending for the singularity choice. After all those gorgeous cut-scenes for the rest of the game, then to have almost nothing at all for that ending choice was a little disappointing.

Exactly. There should have been two Singularity endings, actually. One for those who sided with Raycast and one for those who sided with the Complex - a good Singularity(Helios) and an evil Singularity(Omar).

kalaong is right. Could someone please suggest this to the Dev's?
