Report a translation problem
In a replay of the game I also did it the 'proper' way, circle-strafing with maxed Hacking skill. But still without working black holes.
Well, four streams with maxed Hacking skill. Some shots should make it through, and it takes a while, but at least you're not getting shot at until it activates. Which it only did for me when I got a bit closer. Most stationary enemies could be shot this way, by sneaking up to a corner and fire at a part of the enemy while its centre wasn't in line of sight from my centre.
Mouse free-aims your shots, and keyboard WASD or arrow keys move the avatar cyberspaceship or whatever it is.
