Skinwalker bug?

I've played a couple hours beating the maps with a buddy and every once in a while there will be a deformed player character walking behind us almost like a shadow, it has a heart beat like an entity and it even echoes my voice (I assume using the echo feature in game) but that ♥♥♥♥ was terrifying the first encounter on school. Has anyone else seen this?

Could be what I mentioned in my post I just made? I flipped a lever in the hospital level, and started seeing it then

I was also confused, even though I had died in the game. but for some reason another player appeared, I don't know who it was and the form of the player appearing was like a glitch.

I really think that's a feature. Like halucinating or something. These "shadows" often run straight into a direction to confuse the player in following them. Also they often appear with broken limbs or twisted head - maybe to scare the player to make sounds or scream into the mic

This is definitely intentional, we see them all the time in our games. Kind of just used to it. Makes you think something big is coming until you learn the identifiers for the monsters themselves, then you know "Oh its just the heart beat, its the mimic guy." they also talk like the host etc.

yeah had this quite alot too, just recently noticed that they also echo voices... had a deformed form of my wife coming to me with saying something in her voice... almost made a mess in my pants
