Zoom Player Error
After the last update my zoom player no longer works right. Just a black screen and would have to end the process in task manager. I decided to verify the integrity on steam hoping it would fix the problem. It redownloaded it or something. Now everytime I open it whether in Steam or outside of Steam it gives me this error message:

"Zoom Player Steam Edition has not been installed through Steam or some of your hardware has changed. Please re-install and launch through Steam for the initial run.

You have 10 minutes to export your current settings through the options dialog before Zoom Player closes"

Two things. #1 there's no reason to export my current settings because they got wiped out during the steam verify integrity. #2 I haven't made any hardware changes.

What do I do now? Currently I can't use what I paid for.

OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

Hi. I had the same issue after almost each update. In my case uninstalling the software and then installing it again usually does the trick. Try restarting the software a few times and give it some time if it doesn't work the first time. It will work eventually, but I agree that it's rather annoying.

Thanks! That worked! It just stinks I have to set it up the way I like it again because I lost all of my settings.

Glad to hear it worked. You can actually save your settings. Go to the options (Ctrl+O), switch to advanced mode if you haven't already and then click the "Help / Export" button and choose "Export" and then "Settings". This way you can save your current settings and import them when necessary.
