Thank god there is not much in the way of PVP. Do not think that will ever change either. Not sure how long you were away from the game that you lost your ship. On my 2nd playthrough and not seen that mentioned. Though this team has excellent customer service for a game dev team.

What I'm saying is the game is online only, but a single play nearly 99%. They will never allow the game to go offline personal play and when sales and players drop it will be discontinued aka turned off and removed from steam. Hence the "ship deletion"

See this is where you are both wrong. There is a ton of PVE gameplay to be had. Now if you choose to ignore other players other than to kill them that is your choice. Plenty to do with friends, should you have any.
Really best however to not spread lies about a game. You have no clue what is going on with development. Would seem you are not even in the Discord where a lot is shared everyday. Game is very alive and we are all waiting/hoping for a DLC to release. Yes that is right PAID DLC to allow us to support the Devs. Not every game has to be about griefing and fighting with your fellow man/woman

These guys don't want PvP. They want full loot ganking. Just that it's a controversial thing to say so they hide behind terms like "meaningful PvP" and "Proper PvP". Those are all terms that mean ganking and griefing PvP.

There is PvP in the game, several modes, this guy doesn't say what's wrong with it, or what exactly he wants.

That's because he wants to be able to prance around the map sinking low tier ships willy-nilly but is too cowardly to admit it
