and second is that lots of old timers had and still take advantage of old and rusty canister parts for their boats and then they would use double shields to prevent hits , so i still cant say which cabins are best
i supose if you have the grind on the game like most of old timers you would have several ship , each setup for various purposes, like pvp , other for fun , other for looks , other for pve
i so far have a fully built corsair for pve , i have no boat for pvp , 1 glare for fun , 1 grusp for aesthetics and looks with several gnomes and lots of fun items just parked outside three whaales dock
after this recent update i am considering remodeling my boats just to see what the new cabin rotation can do, i remember i had so much trouble with before
tc
, i spent weeks trying to built the perfect setups for my boats and sets
i would craft 3-5 cabin items all in 1 batch just to get 1 with low weight
of course i did the same with cannons and other parts , just so i can have metal hull and full shields , i still cant have full tier 5 metal shields for my boats and use plastics instead but its ok
i spent months trying to craft light shields, you see before recent updates it would take week or weeks to craft all the shields for 1 boat , i would craft 1 to 8 shields to get a low weight + decent health single shield item
